From April 15-18, two finalists for assistant vice president and advisor to the president on sovereignty and government-to-government relations will be on campus for interviews.
Faculty and staff can engage with the finalists in an open setting during their public presentation and reception, and provide feedback on each candidate following their visit to campus.

Younker is the assistant to the provost for Native American relations, director of the Native American Future Stewards Program, a tenured associate professor of anthropology, and chair of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N.Y.

Jacob is an associate professor of ethnic studies at the University of San Diego, a faculty fellow and director of the Center for Native Health and Culture at Heritage University in Toppenish, Wash., and author of the book, "Yakama Rising: Indigenous Cultural Revitalization, Activism, and Healing."
