The Christmas classic “It's a Wonderful Life” will be shown on campus on Wed., Dec. 3, in 180 Prince Lucien Campbell Hall. The screening is free and open to the public. Prior to the movie, journalism instructor and author Bob Welch will host a discussion about "The Greatest Gift" manuscript that inspired the movie. The manuscript of the beloved holiday tradition by author Phillip Van Doren Stern is part of the UO Libraries' Special Collections and University Archives. The original draft of the short story will be on display at the screening.
