Duck Store appreciation night is Dec. 5 for UO employees

Santa Claus dressed in red. Glittering Christmas ornaments. Time spent with coworkers and families. These are just a few of the anticipated festivities during the University of Oregon faculty, staff and graduate employee appreciation night taking place at the Flagship Campus Duck Store in Eugene on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 6-8 p.m.

A selection of snacks, pizza, and refreshments and wine will be available across the three levels of the store.

Capture holiday memories by taking a photo with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus on the second floor.

“Faculty and staff appreciation night is one of our favorite events of the year. We introduced it decades ago as a way to thank our campus colleagues for everything they do to support the UO community,” said Arlyn Schaufler, The Duck Store CEO. “We're grateful to be able to provide this opportunity for all departments on campus to come together with their families and guests for a fun holiday gathering.”

Those that cannot attend the shopping event can still take advantage of the 20 percent discount on most items exclusively at the Flagship Campus Duck Store by showing their UO ID after the event through Sunday, Dec. 8.
