Duck Store appreciation night is Nov. 30 for UO employees

Santa Claus dressed in red. Glittering Christmas ornaments. Time spent with coworkers and families. These are just a few of the anticipated festivities during the University of Oregon faculty, staff and graduate employee appreciation night taking place at the flagship Eugene campus Duck Store on Thursday, Nov. 30, from 6-8 p.m.

Attendees can take advantage of 20 percent off most items purchased in the store. The first 100 guests will receive a gift and a free copy of the book, ‘A Duck from Oregon Tries to Fly!’.

A small plate buffet, including pizza, and refreshments and wine will be available on all three levels of the store.

Capture holiday memories by taking a photo with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus on the second floor.

“Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night is one of our favorite events of the year. We introduced it decades ago as a way to thank our campus colleagues for everything they do to support the UO community,” said Arlyn Schaufler, The Duck Store CEO. “It's an opportunity for all departments on campus to come together with their families and guests for a fun holiday gathering.”

Those that cannot attend the shopping event can still take advantage of the discount by showing their Duck ID through Sunday, Dec. 3.
