Gather, donate or shop for surplus supplies this summer

For those employees cleaning or moving offices or just tidying up before the next academic year, the ROSE Room and UO Surplus are available as locations to drop off supplies or do some no- or low-cost shopping.

While the ROSE Room is not staffed during summer, a key can be signed out from 118 Prince Lucien Campbell Hall during the ASU3 Academic Center office hours.

Please only donate items that University of Oregon employees will use in a campus office or students can use in their home. Binders or binder sleeves, file folders, textbooks, large equipment or furniture, or broken electronics are not accepted.

The ROSE Room is stocked with office supplies, school supplies and other miscellaneous items. These are available for all UO students, faculty and staff. Office supplies must stay on campus.

UO Surplus operates a new store at 547 Q Street in Springfield. Summer hours are Wednesday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 5:20 p.m., closed July 4-5. The Romania warehouse at 15th Avenue and Walnut Street is open Mondays from 9 a.m. to noon and by appointment. Surplus items for campus-use only may be reserved or donated.

UO Zero Waste is the main point of contact for waste disposal on campus.
