ASUO’s biannual Street Faire will take place during the second week of May, resulting in a street closure to through traffic that will affect campus deliveries and wheeled transportation.
To prepare for the tasty tradition, East 13th Avenue between University and Kincaid streets will be closed as of noon Tuesday, May 9. The street will re-open at 10 p.m. Friday, May 12.
All bicycle racks will be removed to make space for Street Faire vendors during this time, so Ducks are encouraged to plan accordingly when they park and lock their bikes.
In addition, anyone riding bikes, skateboards, scooters or other wheeled transportation will need to dismount and walk that stretch of roadway during the event.
The Street Faire will be active with food and an array crafts and merchandise from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 10, 11 and 12.
