The Board of Trustees of the University of Oregon will convene for its next quarterly meeting March 17-18 at Ford Alumni Center on the Eugene campus.
On Day 1 the board will hear a report on the internal audit strategic plan and in the afternoon will receive quarterly financial and treasury reports with a focus on federal funding. The Finances and Facilities Committee will also meet to receive updates on three projects: east campus housing, Friendly Hall renovations and the Oregon Acoustic Laboratory.
On Day 2, President Karl Scholz, Chief Financial Officer Jamie Moffitt and Vice President for Student Life Angela Chong will present the annual tuition setting recommendations for the 2025-26 academic year.
Trustees will also hear public comment, standing reports from the Associated Students of the University of Oregon, the University Senate, board chair Steve Holwerda, Provost Chris Long and President Scholz on Day 2.
Two executive sessions are scheduled, one for a data center security assessment and one on collective bargaining.
The meeting’s agenda and materials are available in the upcoming meetings section of the board website. Meetings will begin at 10 a.m. March 17 and 9 a.m. March 18, and public comment is scheduled for the second day.
