Shelley Bowerman, BA '09, and her fellow members of Ant Farm Collective have sown the seeds for a new approach to food production.
They are farming vacant urban land providing a new source of local food to markets and restaurants in Eugene. Their efforts are part of a national movement that might just be the beginning of a revolution in agriculture.
Bowerman graduated from the UO in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree.
