Transportation Services and Cascadia Mobility will host an e-scooter education and learn-to-ride event on the Chapman Lawn Sept. 27-28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Interested students and employees can ask questions, try out an e-scooter, and get a free helmet. The e-scooters are part of a one-year pilot being conducted by the city of Eugene.
The pilot will reach the six-month mark at the end of September, and the city has a survey out for feedback. The university community has a chance to weigh in online.
