High School: Bishop O’Dowd, Oakland, Calif.
Major/Degree: Advertising
What I learned: During my time here at the UO I discovered my life purpose and that is to inspire others through my creativity. However, the most important thing that I have learned recently is to always take care of my mental, physical, and spiritual health, but most importantly to live simply.
Favorite spot on campus: The 3rd floor of the J-School. That’s the ultimate kick-it spot in Allen Hall. You will catch some of the most creative kids putting in work up there and I thrive off creativity.
Favorite memories: I would have to say I have three key memories. The first would be getting nominated for a College Emmy. The second would be making people cry from the four videos I helped create. And lastly, singing word for word to Travis Scott and Kanye West at a party with my best friends.
Favorite professor/instructor/adviser: Deb Morrison, hands down. She introduced me to the game and inspired me to create amazing pieces work.
People might be surprised to know: I once got stuck at the top of a roller coaster for two hours. Hands down, it was the scariest moment of my life. The temperature changed we were up so high!
What it means to be a Duck: Ducks stick together, we are all family. No matter where we go in life, we will always be Ducks.
What I did for fun:I partied, kicked it with my girlfriend, went to the gym, made dope short films with a group of culturally sound students, and cooked good food.
What’s next: I will be the Marketing Coordinator for adidas Originals in Portland. This was ALWAYS my dream job and I got it.
