The Graduate Teaching Fellows Federation has rejected a university effort to settle their labor dispute and has set a projected strike date of Dec. 2, the Tuesday of dead week.
In a communication sent Wednesday, Nov. 18, to the university, the GTFF indicated the Executive Council of Stewards representing its members rejected the university’s offer, sent for review earlier this week.
While both the university and the GTFF have indicated their openness to additional rounds of mediation and bargaining, no specific dates have yet been set. They are required to come to the bargaining table for a final round the evening immediately preceding the identified strike date.
Additional information, including campus communications, the university’s final offer and frequently asked questions, can be found on the provost’s website.
