The Phil and Penny Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact’s year-long grand opening celebration continues this month with a panel discussion providing a detailed look at the distinctive design elements of the building.
The conversation will feature Moira Kiltie, Knight Campus associate vice president, Darin Dehle, UO director of design and construction, Keat Ghee Ong, Knight Campus professor and Jarrett Pelletier, associate partner at Ennead Architects.
In addition to discussing in detail some of the building’s most compelling elements, participants will also demonstrate a mixed-reality app enabling you to explore the campus on a mobile device.
The event is slated for 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 27. RSVP to the event here.
The Knight Campus kicked off a year of celebrations last month with a virtual grand opening of the 170,000 square-foot building. The campus features best-in-class labs and instructional facilities, as well as an innovation center to support efforts to move discoveries into the marketplace, where they can help improve quality of life.
