The UO public records office released additional documents to news media in response to requests for information about the athletics department inquiry. The Register-Guard story includes:
“The University’s long-held belief about the core integrity of the program was confirmed,” the official response said. “The investigation showed that the Oregon football program values integrity, and that Oregon coaches did nothing to intentionally gain an unfair advantage.”
In late June, the NCAA concluded its two-year inquiry into the University of Oregon's football program and the Committee on Infractions has issued its findings which were substantially consistent with recommendations by the University of Oregon.
