Morgan P., a high school student from California, had her wish come true three weeks ago on Nov. 18 when she got to spend an entire day with the Oregon acrobatics and tumbling team.
Through the help of Make-A-Wish, Morgan was able to travel to Eugene with her family and experience a day in the life of an Oregon athlete.
She received tours of the Jaqua Academic Center, The Duck Store and all of the athletics facilities. She also enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner with the acrobatics and tumbling players and coaches.
She capped off her day by meeting the entire team and joining them for weight training and practice.
Morgan is an avid gymnast, tumbler and cheerleader who has recently been affected by moyamoya. With help from the Stanford Moyamora Center, she has undergone surgery and is steadily recovering.
