Eugene and Springfield-area families are invited to try out the Student Recreation Center for free on Sunday, Jan. 28.

The Rec Center will be open to all local families from noon to 4 p.m. with free food and activities, including rock climbing, obstacle courses, swimming, basketball and table tennis.

Parents can also register their kids for the Spring Break Duck Trails Camp before the application is available online.

Rec Center membership is not required for entry.
