Registration for the Fall Art Workshop at the University of Oregon’s EMU Craft Center will open at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, and will remain open until classes start or fill up.
The Craft Center has well-equipped studios that are open seven days a week. Participants in the center's workshops are encouraged to tap into their artistic sides, meet new people and have fun. Craft center classes accommodate everyone from those just beginning to explore a craft to accomplished artists.
The center's classes cover crafts including glasswork, ceramics, jewelry, woodwork, photography, painting and drawing. Students, faculty and community members are all encouraged to sign up for classes, which are offered non-credit – usually in the afternoons or evenings to accommodate students’ schedules.
Class lengths range from one day to eight weeks. All instructors are accomplished artists.
Registration for classes can be done in-person at the Craft Center, by mail or online. For more information, call the Craft Center at 541-346-4361.
