'Road Trip' starts at Museum of Natural and Cultural History

Oregon's scenery, often captured by both residents and visitors as they travel the state's highways, is going on display at the UO's Museum of Natural and Cultural History.

The exhibit "Road Trip! The Roadside Geology of Oregon" opens Friday, Nov. 7, and features photographs and maps from the just-released revised edition of "Roadside Geology of Oregon" by UO geologist Marli Miller. A reception, which is free and open to the public, kicks off the opening, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
