Running and research are sharing the same stage as the only-at-the-UO Run with a Researcher events gain attention for uniting academics and athletics.

The program offers visitors to campus and the Olympic track and field trials a chance to go for a run with UO faculty members. Routes can take runners to Pre’s Trail, Pre’s Rock or around campus.

The runs were recently featured in a Register-Guard story, “Trials visitors take up offer to ‘Run with a Researcher,” and in “’Run with a Researcher’ at the UO during Olympic trials” on NBC affiliate television station KMTR and CBS affiliate KVAL.
