University of Oregon employees, students, and alumni are encouraged to sign up to join University Day at the Capitol, a virtual event on Wednesday, Feb. 9.
Representatives from all the Oregon’s public universities will come together to meet with state legislators to advocate for policies that support students and the institutions, share the impact of the institutions on the state, and support current and future students. Participants will advocate for high-quality, affordable, accessible public education in Oregon.
Advocates will receive a short orientation, be placed in a group with others from all the universities and will have a few 15-minute meetings with legislators throughout the day. The orientation and meetings will take place on Zoom between noon and 4 p.m. on Feb. 9.
Please register to attend by Feb. 4.
