Information on a salary increase that takes effect Jan. 1 for faculty members and officers of administration was recently issued by Jayanth Banavar, provost and senior vice president, and Jamie Moffitt, vice president for finance and administration and chief financial officer.

The memos said the 2018 salary increases for eligible faculty and OAs will include both a 0.75 percent across-the-board increase and a 2.25 percent available merit pool. Classified employee salary increases are governed by the UO/SEIU collective bargaining agreement and will not be affected by these actions. A tentative contract agreement was recently reached by SEIU and Oregon public universities.
