The University Theatre is performing its winter term production of “POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive” directed by Tricia Rodley, senior instructor of theatre arts.
The curtain rises in the Hope Theatre at the Miller Theater Complex at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 7, 8, 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22, and at 2 p.m. on Feb. 16 and 23. Tickets are available online and at the UO Ticket Office on the ground floor of the Erb Memorial Union.
“POTUS” is Selina Fillinger’s edgy all-female farce that took Broadway by storm in a star-studded production that earned three 2022 Tony nominations.
One four-letter word is about to rock 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. When the president unwittingly spins a public relations nightmare into a global crisis, the seven brilliant and beleaguered women he relies upon most risk life, liberty and the pursuit of sanity to keep the commander-in-chief out of trouble.
