UO community invited to learn about alumni perception survey

The results of a recent survey on how UO alumni view the university will be presented at a public meeting Thursday, Sept. 24.

The results and an analysis will be discussed in two sessions, one from 10:30 a.m. to noon and the other from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Both will be held in Room 132 of the Global Scholars Hall.

Conducted on behalf of the UO Alumni Association, the survey was intended to gauge how alumni perceive their alma mater and how they engage with the university. It was conducted by Performance Enhancement Group earlier this year.

Rob Shoss, the study’s creator, will present the analysis and will also review previous studies the alumni association conducted in 2004, 2008 and 2013.

The meetings are open to everyone in the UO campus community. In addition to learning about the survey, audience members will learn about attitudinal trends among UO alumni, have an opportunity to ask questions and be able to discuss possible applications of the results.
