The University of Oregon ombuds program is conducting a survey to gather feedback on the quality of the program’s services and its utilization.
University employees who have used the program’s services in the last three years are being asked to participate in the survey. All employees will receive an email with a link to the survey and can access the survey on the ombuds program’s website.
The ombuds program provides confidential, impartial, independent and informal conflict management assistance to members of the university community. The program works with individuals and groups and facilitates trainings and workshops.
“We offer members of the campus community a confidential place to find support and problem-solving resources,” said Brett Harris, university ombudsperson. “Given the confidential nature of our work, it can be challenging to evaluate our services. This survey will help us get feedback from employees who have used our services.”
The brief survey will ask general questions about people’s experience with the program. Aggregate, nonidentifiable information collected through the survey will be used in the program’s self-evaluation and may be shared in relation to the self-evaluation process.
“All of the information from the survey is intended to help us understand how the ombuds program can better support the university community,” Harris said.
The survey will be open Feb. 10 to 21.
