The western United States is home to a vibrant community of business law scholars. To foster this community and promote intellectual exchange, the University of Oregon School of Law is proud to host the inaugural Pacific West Business Law Scholars Colloquium from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, in the Wayne Morse Suite of the White Stag facilities in downtown Portland.
The colloquium, spearheaded by law school assistant professor Mohsen Manesh, will feature six papers, selected from a call for papers, covering a variety of business law topics including corporate law, securities law, financial regulation, bankruptcy, tax and corporate constitutional rights. Approximately one hour will be devoted to each paper, including a presentation by the paper’s author followed by discussion among the other colloquium participants.
