Zebrafish in the swim as research animals
SF Gate: In the 1970s, UO scientists discovered that Zebrafish were excellent for studying development in genetics. In recent years, scientists have been able to complete studies in a fraction of the time it would take to test mice--thereby increasing the Zebrafishs’ popularity.
