CJ Pascoe is an academic expert on sexuality, masculinity, gender, transgender issues, body image, especially related to youth and schools. She also studies the use of social media by LGBT and straight youth to police gender roles and body image. CJ is chair of the American Sociological Association’s Section on Sex and Gender and is author of the book, "Dude, You're a Fag: Masculinity and Sexuality in High School."
