Clare Evans is an academic expert in global health, social epidemiology, medical sociology, health inequalities, statistical analysis, intersectional inequalities and the development of novel methods to study the social determinants of health. She teaches classes in social epidemiology, medical sociology and research methods. She received her doctorate in social epidemiology from the Harvard Chan School of Public Health and also has a Masters in Public Health in sociomedical sciences from Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health. She is co-director of UO’s Center for Global Health.
