Ian Greenhouse is an academic expert in the neuroscience of motor control, brain stimulation, and neuroimaging. At the University of Oregon, he is an assistant professor of human physiology and director of the Action Control Laboratory. His research examines how humans initiate prepared movements and cancel movements that are underway. He studies both healthy individuals and patients with movement disorders, and the roles of inhibition within the motor system are a key focus of his work.
