Faculty bio 

Jen Doty is an academic expert in adolescent health and wellbeing, prevention science, and prevention of bullying and cyberbullying. Her research is focused on leveraging parent-child relationships and technology to promote adolescent behavioral health and well-being. Her work has been funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse and the National Institute of Minority Health and Health Disparities. Jen’s research projects include efforts to prevent youth aggression and cyberbullying, promote healthy teen technology use, and improve parenting practices both in person and online. She is currently developing and piloting the TECH Check-Up, a program to address early adolescents’ problems with digital media use. She is also leading research to culturally adapt the Family Check-up Online, an evidence-based parenting program, for Latine families.
