Ram Durairajan is an academic expert in cybersecurity, computer networking, multi-cloud computing, internet data science and programmable Optics. He's interested in developing new techniques and tools to empirically measure issues, properties and characteristics of the Internet; and building decision-support systems to enhance Internet robustness by mitigating risks, outages, and cybersecurity issues identified using empirical measurements. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers and is a recipient of a 2022 National Science Foundation CAREER Award, the NSF’s most prestigious award in support of early-career faculty.
