The summer meeting of the board of trustees will be held at UO Portland Sept. 5-6

She is returning to North Carolina to be near family; Amy Smith has been appointed interim

Plan includes emergency funds for low-income students.

The final tuition level won’t be set until after the state Legislature passes a budget

The UO board will also look at long-range financial planning during the May 22-23 meeting  

Board members also heard about the comics and cartoon studies program and diversity efforts

By drawing money from out of state into Oregon, the UO serves as a powerful economic engine

Trustees representing students, staff and faculty members will meet with constituents

Other topics included the most diverse freshman class ever and a new licensing agreement

The degree recognizes people for their scholarly or artistic achievement through public service
