The Duck Nest Wellness Center is recruiting faculty and staff volunteers to serve as ambassadors. Applications are due Aug. 20 for those who would like to share their passion for promoting work-life balance, self-care and general wellness to the campus community.
The program, which is in its third year, applies the peer-to-peer education model already in place at the Duck Nest. Wellness ambassadors will commit one to two hours per month to give interactive presentations, table at new employee orientations, disseminate wellness communication, and create wellness opportunities within their own units and departments.
Faculty and staff members interested in becoming a part of this wellness initiative can learn more about the wellness ambassador program and apply online. Wellness ambassadors will be selected by a program steering committee.
