Art installation at Huestis Hall will affect auto, pedestrian routes

Campus Planning and Facilities Management has updated its running list of closures and other activities that affect travel, access and planning on campus.

Employees can stayed informed by visiting the campus closures, shutdowns and detours website or by checking the UO campus map construction impacts.

The latest notifications include:

New:     

  • Campus fire systems testing and maintenance schedule for summer 2024.
  • HEDCO Education Building exterior steel cleaning and painting, through Aug. 23.
  • McKenzie Hall building heat shut down during flow meter and pipeline work, July 8-10.
  • Huestis Hall Percent for Art installation and crane work, July 8-12.
  • Esslinger Hall reroofing advisory for the southern portion, July 8-Sept. 20.

Updated:

  • Rescheduled to July 8: New Residence Hall, New Apartment Style Residence Hall, Earl Hall, Straub Hall, Hayward Field, LLC North, LLC South, Bean Hall, Unthank Hall, Ford Alumni, Mathew Knight Arena, Global Scholars Hall and Kalapuya Ilihi standby power shut down to finalize recent electrical building improvements.
  • Scaffolding work and seismic reinforcement of the brick veneer at Knight Library, July 11-Aug. 16.
