In-person workshops for WW, also known as Weight Watchers Reimagined, will be held every Tuesday from noon-1 p.m. in Room 023, Erb Memorial Union, with the exception of Nov. 8 in Room 107.
Share successes, challenges, resources and meal-planning tips with co-workers in a supportive group environment proven to create an advantage in meeting wellness goals.
“Statistics show that members achieve their healthy-lifestyle goals when attending workshops rather than going it alone,” said WW coach Heather Fisher, who is also a retired University of Oregon employee.
Benefits-eligible employees can try out a meeting with no obligation or can choose to sign up at the session. Preregistration is not required, although sign-ups are available online via the PEBB website.
Check-in at each meeting starts at noon. The workshop weekly topic discussion runs from 12:15 to 12:40 p.m. and attendees are welcome to bring their lunch.
Once enrolled, WW memberships continue until a member cancels or is no longer enrolled in their health insurance plan.
The Public Employees Benefit Board offers WW as part of the benefits program to help benefits-eligible employees achieve their healthy-lifestyle goals as they work to improve their overall health. Employees eligible for PEBB coverage and their covered spouses, domestic partners and dependents age 10 and older can enroll in WW at no additional cost.
The WW webpage on the HR website lists meeting dates. If you have questions, please contact the Office of Human Resources at hrinfo@uoregon.edu, 541-346-2671.
