The University of Oregon International Student and Scholar Services is seeking individuals and families to serve as hosts for incoming international students.

The students typically stay a few days to a week before the start of the fall term. Host families offer invaluable support and create a memorable first impression of the Ducks community.

Benefits of hosting include cultural enrichment, networking opportunities and relationship building with students from around the world. 

Host families can choose their level of involvement and commitment ranging from providing a safe and comfortable stay, picking students up from the Eugene Airport as needed, assisting with orientation and campus familiarization, and offering guidance and support as needed.
