Employee involvement creates a safe workplace culture throughout campus. The University of Oregon relies on the campus community to improve safety awareness, follow best safety practices and abide by local, state and federal standards.
UO offers many resources to assist faculty and staff with keeping themselves and the campus safe while achieving the university mission of exceptional teaching, research and service. Campus safety and preparedness resources include:
- University safety policy.
- Personal safety planning.
- Personal emergency plans.
- Emergency procedures.
- UOAlerts system, which serves as the official information for campus during emergencies.
- Safety information sheets on specific safety topics.
- UOregon Mobile App that links to UOPD, emergency management, safety videos and maps.
