As the University of Oregon continues its efforts towards to operating mostly in-person this fall, changes and transitions lay ahead for employees.
Those currently working onsite will begin sharing campus buildings and spaces with more people, and most who are currently working remotely will shift back to onsite work. The Office of Human Resources has assembled resources to support employees as they adjust though the university’s transition. Those resources include:
- Communication strategies to build trust during uncertain times webinar, Oct. 7 at noon.
- Prepare for face coverings and the reopening of UO campuses (articles and listening series).
- Take time for your mental health (tip sheet).
- Path to fall presentation (video).
Additionally, benefits-eligible employees can get confidential one-on-one counseling and personalized assistance through Cascade Centers, the university's employee assistance program provider. The program is available to help employees process their emotions and refocus. Additionally, it can assist with locating various resources that may be helpful at this time, including child care and mental health providers.
