UO leaders have issued a message to campus today encouraging a respectful workplace.
The message from Nancy Resnick, chief human resources officer, and Scott Pratt, executive vice provost for academic affairs, said the UO is "committed to equity, inclusion, and providing an environment free from discrimination and harassment in which all students, staff and faculty may contribute and thrive. We are writing to remind all faculty, staff, graduate employees, and supervisors about our expectation that we all work together to create a respectful working and learning environment.”
The message includes resources about how to create a more respectful environment and how to report inappropriate behavior or prohibited discrimination.
The full text of the message is available on the human resources website.
