EMU adds reload station to change cash into Duck Bucks

With many vendors in the Erb Memorial Union transitioning to cashless transactions, the EMU has installed a value reload station where users can convert bills into Duck Bucks, the debit card program that uses University of Oregon ID cards.

The self-service station, like one already located in the Knight Library, lets people who do not have other methods of payment turn their cash into Duck Bucks.

If users have a UO ID, they can load funds directly onto their ID card.

For campus visitors who do not have a UO ID, they can purchase a Duck Bucks card through the station and load it with funds. The card can be used at any campus locations that accept Duck Bucks.

The reload station, which is located with the ATMs near the Fishbowl, only accepts cash.
