University Health Center is now scheduling time slots for UO faculty members and staff to receive their seasonal flu shots.

To make an appointment, faculty and staff members should call 541-346-2559 on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon.

Flu shots will be administered at the health center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 29 and Nov. 5.

Flu shots are covered by most UO employee health insurance plans. The health center will also courtesy bill other health plans or will accept cash or check at the time of service. The cost for flu shots is $25. Participants are reminded to bring their health insurance card and UO ID.

The health center is located at 1590 E. 13th Ave., across the street from Oregon Hall.

Individuals who have an egg allergy or serious health concern are asked to visit their health care provider in the community for their flu shot.
