Nominations are being accepted through Dec. 6 for the 2020 Martin Luther King Jr. Awards given by the Division of Equity and Inclusion.
The awards are open to classified staff, officers of administration, faculty members, graduate employees, post-doctoral scholars and groups of UO employees who demonstrate the values of equity, inclusion and diversity and who have not previously received the award.
Award categories include Drum Major (formerly Social Justice), IDEAL Institutionalization, Outstanding Diversity Practitioner Award, and Lace: Love, Authenticity, Courage & Empathy. The Influencer Award for students is new this year.
The 2020 MLK Awards Celebration is Thursday, Jan. 16 at 11:30 a.m. in the Erb Memorial Union ballroom.
