New sidewalk construction will bring detour at education building

Campus Planning and Facilities Management has updated its running list of closures and other activities that affect travel, access and planning on campus.

Employees can stayed informed by visiting the campus closures, shutdowns and detours website or by checking the UO campus map construction impacts.

The latest notifications include:

New:   

  • Lokey Education sidewalk to be replaced on the east side of the building, through Sept. 13.
  • Klamath Hall rooms 151A and 151B will be renovated.
  • Gallery Way new asphalt paving to repair surfaces related to tunnel work between Millrace Studios and the Fine Arts Studios, Sept. 12-13.
  • Johnson Hall rooms 219-221 remodeling advisory, Oct. 1-March 31.

Updated:

  • Additional date: Streisinger Hall and Klamath Hall loading dock area to have the final crane onsite related to the Klamath Hall reroofing project, Sept. 10.
  • Rescheduled: Lewis Integrative Science Building chilled water shutdown date changed to Sept. 18.
  • Date change: Kalapuya Ilihi repair work has been extended to March 31, 2025.
