Several buildings on east side of the Eugene campus should prepare for power update

Campus Planning and Facilities Management has updated its running list of closures and other activities that affect travel, access and planning on campus.

Employees can stayed informed by visiting the campus closures, shutdowns and detours website or by checking the UO campus map construction impacts.

The latest notifications include:

New:     

  • Pacific Hall vacuum pumps offline while awaiting replacement parts.
  • Oregon Hall west elevator down for emergency repairs.
  • Willamette Hall rooms 32 through 41C HVAC air supply offline during work on the building automation systems panel, Feb. 25.
  • Friendly Hall west entry portico work and contractor walk-through, Feb. 25-26.
  • Knight Law Center, Viv Olum Child Development Center, Many Nations Longhouse and the Museum of Natural and Cultural History 20-minute electrical outage during power update, Feb. 27.
  • Air handing unit-1 repair affecting heat in many Willamette Hall rooms, March 6-8.
  • UO Portland Campus Center Building electrical outage and building closure while electric company relocates a transformer and installs a new switchgear, March 22-30.
