President Michael Schill and United Academics President Michael Dreiling together signed the collective bargaining agreement for UO faculty at a reception at McMorran House on Wednesday, Oct. 14.

“Working with faculty for excellence is my No. 1 objective,” Schill said.  “We are not only marking the signing of the United Academics contract agreement, we are marking what I hope will be an unprecedented era of cooperation and partnership.”

The three-year contract was agreed to in August and later ratified by the union’s membership.
