The University of Oregon Office of Human Resources produces a monthly newsletter to support employees on their wellness journey. The Wellness Connection newsletter is emailed to all university employees and focuses on a different topic each month. It provides tools, tips and resources for improving your wellness journey.
The latest edition, which is available on the HR website, takes a closer look at starting your wellness journey at home. Topics include:
- Tips for healthy habits at home.
- Housing challenges and resources.
- Learning opportunities about buying or renting a house, property insurance and home decor.
- Benefits-eligible employee toolkit for housing support and special programs offered by Canopy, the UO employee assistance provider.
The wellness newsletter is provided in addition to other wellness programming and webinars. The next wellness webinar hosted by HR takes place on April 13 from noon to 1 p.m. with a focus on ways to incorporate personal wellness habits into your workday. Registration is now open and all employees may attend.
