UO board of trustees to meet Dec. 9-10 in Eugene

The Board of Trustees of the University of Oregon will meet for its next quarterly meeting Dec. 9-10 at the Ford Alumni Center on the Eugene campus.

On Tuesday, board members will hear reports from the Academic and Student Affairs and Finance and Facilities Committees, as well as a risk management update from Vice President and Chief Resilience Officer André Le Duc.

After lunch, Chief Marketing Officer Carol Keese will present on owned and earned media and raising the UO’s reputational profile, and following the quarterly financial reports, Vice President for Enrollment Management Derek Kindle will present on the outlook for enrollment at the university.

Day Two will start with public comment, followed by standing reports from Provost Christopher P. Long, ASUO President Prissila Moreno, University Senate President Dyana Mason, President Karl Scholz and board chair Steve Holwerda.

The board will close the meeting by voting on five resolutions: approving three academic programs, approving a capital project for the children’s behavioral health building on the Portland Campus and submitting a Higher Education Coordinating Commission capital project proposal.

The meeting’s agenda and materials will be available when posted in the upcoming meetings section of the board website. Meetings will begin at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Monday, and public comment is scheduled for the second day.
