UO board of trustees to meet Sept. 15-16 in Portland

The Board of Trustees of the University of Oregon will meet for its next quarterly meeting Sept. 15-16 at the Portland campus.

On Monday, Chief Auditor Anta Coulibaly will give a quarterly internal audit update, and new Vice President for Enrollment Management Derek Kindle will present on the outlook for enrollment at the university.

The board will then recess for two executive sessions, including President Karl Scholz’s annual review.

When the board reconvenes, they will discuss President Scholz’s review, followed by a three-hour block on the financial future of the UO with reports led by Jamie Moffitt, senior vice president for finance and administration and chief financial officer.

Day Two will start with public comment, followed by standing reports from Provost Christopher P. Long, new ASUO President Prissila Moreno, University Senate President Dyana Mason, President Scholz and board chair Steve Holwerda.

The meeting’s agenda and materials will be available when posted in the upcoming meetings section of the board website. Meetings will begin at 9 a.m. both days, and public comment is scheduled for the second day.

A livestream link will be available on the website. If accommodations for teleconference, sign language for the deaf or hard of hearing, or accessibility are required, contact trustees@uoregon.edu at least two business days in advance of the posted meeting time.

To provide public comment during the meeting or to provide remote public comment, sign up by emailing trustees@uoregon.edu and include name, affiliation with the university and topic for discussion. Public comment guidelines are available on the board’s website.
