University announces June 15 as the date for commencement 2026

The University of Oregon will hold this year’s commencement ceremonies on Monday, June 15, 2026.

The 2026 Commencement Ceremony will be held at 9 a.m. on June 15 at Autzen Stadium, celebrating the conferral of degrees for all graduates. School and college ceremonies will all take place later that same day at a variety of campus venues, including Matthew Knight Arena, Autzen Stadium, and Hayward Field.

Dates, times, and locations of all ceremonies can be found on the commencement website, as well as information about ordering regalia, making travel plans for family and friends, GradFest, and much more.

Eligible students will receive additional information via their @uoregon email in early spring term.

Graduates and families are the focus of commencement, but volunteers are essential. The biggest day on the annual calendar at the University of Oregon simply wouldn’t happen without the hundreds of staff and faculty who give their time. Employees from every corner of the university are strongly encouraged to volunteer — mark your calendars to be part of this culminating celebration. The call for volunteers takes place in Spring term. Plan to sign up to make this unforgettable day go smoothly for graduates and families.
