UO Kids on Campus Day will take place on April 24

Save the date for UO Kids on Campus Day. On Thursday, April 24, employees are invited to bring their children in grades 4 through 8 to visit the Eugene campus for a full day of fun activities hosted by University of Oregon departments. The event provides an opportunity for employees to spend quality time with the kids in their lives and showcase their workplaces.

Registration for the event will open on March 27.

Last year’s event boasted a wide array of activities from 27 different units. Kids designed their own athletic shoes at the Lundquist College of Business, learned to extinguish fires with Safety and Risk Services, conducted the choir with the School of Music and Dance, and much more.

The Office of Human Resources is looking to partner with even more programs and departments this year to provide a wide range of fun and fulfilling experiences for kids and families.

Units interested in hosting an activity, experience or tour for kids, or learning more about hosting can email UOFamilies@uoregon.edu or fill out the partner interest form.

More information will be available as the event approaches. Visit the human resources website for the latest updates and to register after March 27.
