A seminar for faculty and staff members on creating and celebrating inclusivity will offered Wednesday, July 18, by the Division of Equity and Inclusion in collaboration with the Office of Human Resources.
The seminar will include a discussion on ways employees can confront their own beliefs, biases and perceptions. Through this understanding, employees can develop strategies to foster inclusivity on campus.
The seminar will from noon to 1 p.m. in the Crater Lake Rooms in the Erb Memorial Union. Registration for the event is available online.
HR offers a series of seminars throughout the summer. Each free seminar focuses on a different aspect of personal well-being.
The seminars will be broadcast live via a webinar to UO Portland and the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology in Charleston. Following each seminar, a recording of the presentation will be posted to the HR website.

Cascade Centers, the university’s employee assistance provider, offers webinars on a variety of topics. Benefit-eligible employees also can receive confidential one-on-one counseling from a licensed provider through Cascade Centers.
